The site offers members three main functions:

• Job share partner search – you will be able to look for members in your area looking for similar work. You can search on age range, area, expected salary range and type of work. You can also enter key words to further refine your search. Searches will not reveal the names of members (unless they have been used as an ID). Once initial contact has been made, and you feel confident that a match may be possible, it will be up to both parties to decide how they want to take things further.
• Job share vacancies – initially the site will carry links to selected local authorities, health services and major organisations which have job share policies and which welcome applications from job share candidates. We hope to expand this service as the website grows.
• Information and advice – as well as providing up-to-date information regarding job sharing in the UK, there will be guidance on choosing partners and a forum for members to offer their own notices, information and advice.
